Thanks to everyone who came out to the Birdman Stage last night. It was
a wonderful night and a great honour to play Johns' stage. I have tons
of photos' up now on the Pixagogo photo site. I am using this while
Chris teaches me the world of web-site understanding and maintainence.
It is Eric Pate who is the shutterbug behind these photos'.

Full Band Fever: tonight's Blues-Fest show on the Birdman stage will start at 9:30pm as opposed to 9:15pm. Not much of a change, but some change. Some new and some old will be promised.
Toronto Blues Fest has been cancelled in its' entirety. Poor ticket sales are to blame. Sorry to those who may have been coming out to the shows.
Stewart Park Festival: Our schedule for Stewart Park goes something like this: I play a workshop at 2pm with Jill Barber, Brock Zieman and we play the main stage at 6pm and at Fiddleheads at 11pm. For other Line-up information, click HERE.
Have a great weekend..

The Break In Season:
In the Emerald City (the name we gave our neighbourhood), it is break in season. On Monday our neighbours got visited and they took off our screen but decided not to smash there way in.
Last night they decided to air out my car have a look through three years of tax receipts. They took nothing really just smashed the window and threw things around. It has also been a good week for drunk people screaming at 2am.
Different people have different reasons to go on tour...
Good News:
Not all is screaming and smashing here though. The just completed video for "Somewhere Else" has been added in rotation at CMT. Folks have told me I should provide a link to request the songs, so HERE that is. A geat idea I think. Shot in the pastoral settings of Loretto, Ont., the video exploits: er, features Jim Cuddy.

Greetings from the salt water shores
Monday morning in Halifax and 12 hours will find me back home for the next couple of weeks.
Had a great weekend out here. The Friday show at the Marquee was sparingly attended, but very enjoyable. Canso was a great time as well. We all met loads of good people and saw great music. I think the highlight was after the festival Saturday back at our camphouse listenning to folks sit around the table playing songs. Mighty Popo with Old man Luedicke, Dan Kershaw, Joel Plaskett, Andy White and many others.
Thanks so much as well to Joel Plasket for driving me to Halifax both from the airport and from the festival last night. A lifesaver indeed.
Stayed last night with Halifax film fellow Evan Kelly and he showed me him new short film, Former Glories, which is scored entiredly by "One Cigarette". The "Loist Occasional" also makes an appearance in the credits.
Today I am off to see Andy Millar and the new Trailer Park Boys set they are building.
Not too many photos from out here, but i may have something in a couple of days.
Over.....
