One Day Figured Out: I have my Wednesdays' in order. I go out in the morning for coffee and then I come home and make more coffee and start the day later than others. Without a daytime paying occupation to guide me, it keeps some version of order and routine in at least one of the weekdays. This afternoon is filled with last minute checking on receipts before they all go away for some tour re-imbursement.
Download This: Today the big news is that the Canadian recording industry lost its' court request to access ISP information for Canadaian music downloaders. You can read more of this in the business section of the Globe and Mails' web-site today. Try: www.globeandmail.com
Speaking of downloading, a friend played me the upcoming wilco recording today. Creaking with the Seventies on some songs, and a couple of numbers coming in over the 10 minute mark.
One more radio note: I will be on Joe Reilys' "the guest list" on CKCU this Thursday btwn 5pm and 6pm.

Hello folks. Tuesday morning with my fourth headache in the last two days keeping me company.
There are a couple of radio interviews to let you know about. Friday on John Westhavers' Friday Morning Car-tunes, Casey Comeau and I will be talking with DJ Feck and playing a couple of songs after the BBC news at noon. This is on CKCU 93.1, you can hear this one on the internet as well at www.ckcu.com.
At 5:40pm on CBC radio 1 91.5 on the same Friday, I will be on "all in a day" with Bill Stunt. Listen live in the 613 area or again on the internet at www.cbc.ca/audio.html.
A nice lead up to the Black Sheep Inn matinee this Sunday...
Today has also been a day where country considerations have been going on to decide on a move to a old log home outside of Wakefield. My sanity and changes of interior space are the leading discussion topics at this point.

Radio Interview Stuff:
This Sunday between 9-10, folks in the 514(Montreal) area can listen to an interview I did with CHOM FM for the weekly "Made in Canada" show(Now in its' Fifteenth Year). Those in other parts of the world can listen online at www.chom.com . It is pre-taped,but the marvels of computer editing, it will be made into a 1/2 "live" sounding radio piece. Good interviewer he was indeed...

march 16th again:
You wonder how one passes the day out here in the the city that was once just a village. Borrowed computer and the discovery of this blogger world. I found it by looking at Bob Moulds site. He speaks alot about wrestling and life. I guess I am also posting to see how quick they go up on this site, cause I have never before used it. I like that i can edit after posting as well. That will come in handy if I am late getting home and feel the need to "blog" as one would say.
Over...

March 16th once more:
Just checking that all this is working and posting...

March 16th, 2004:
Waiting to pick the cat up at the VET. We got this cat from a rescue program and she is super skittish but getting used to life with us. She is adverse to the concept of getting in a cage, which is understandable indeed.
Going to send out the Alberta e-mail for the shows in April with Chris Page today. We will be in Calgary on the 22nd of April at Mount Royal College, Edmonton on the 23nd at the Power Plant at noon and the Side Track in the evening and once again in Edmonton on the 24th at 4pm at the Black Dog.
Last weekends show in Perth was good fun indeed. thanks very much to Steve Tennant and family and also Dave Balfour for being lovely hosts. I tried to race home in time for the Alex Mortimer show, but I showed upo as they were finishing and not returning for an encore. Although I heard that the Alan Parsons' Eye in The Sky was the final number of the evening. I am still getting used to the house show format, but I like the idea and the playing solo and folks listenning is rewarding.
