Well Folk Me:
It seems I won myself an Ottawa Xpress award in the folk category!! Looksie
HERE! Over,
iJon Means War:General Early Morning Musings:
*
Paul Galipeau took this and I am sorry to borrow it here, but it is soooo good!
iJon at the iPod War last Friday in Ottawa during his presentation of "The Ace of Spades" with Kelp duo partner C.V.
* I cannot sleep. I did for a while but now it is 5:30am and here I am going through blogs that I read regularily and snagging photos' of JB from the iPod war. In addition, I am going through and catching up on accidentally missed tasks I had meant to accomplish over the past few days. Having general poor thought and task retention skills requires extra work in hindsight from time to time.
* Being up like this reminds me of last Christmas at my parent house when I could not sleep and I got up at 5:30am and starting posting from out there "where the bungalos' roam".
* Three days ago, I filled out the online
Anansi Press questionnaire and will receive as my reward a book on grammar (my choice) any moment now. Perhaps there is hope yet for me!
* Tonight Jake and I rehearse for our "super duo" show this weekend (see below post).
* Well, that is all from here. I am going back to bed...
jim,
This week in View:This weekend was a funny one. A bunch of us (Kathleen included) headed to the iPod Warz at Barrymore's on Friday night.
Team Kelp was having a good run until Bartlett got carried out by four bouncers for climbing around. Some people just do not know how to let the
Big B have some fun.
Saturday I was all set to stay in, but ended up leaving the house at 11:30 and met up with AV to ring in his birthday.
Ok. Now Regarding Sherbrooke:
Jake and I are heading out to Sherbrooke on Saturday to play at Cafe Bla Bla. If you are from that area, come on out.

jim,

New Week:Still up here late on Sunday evening after being at the home of commander Bartletts.
I will have more new shows and all that jazz to announce as well as a more concrete plan as to how this recording will see the light of day in the not too distant future. There is a vinyl plan in the works for this release as well.
Did I mention that
Andrew Vincent is opening the Friday show at the Black Sheep? He is. Solo and with the promise of mucho guitar heroics I am hoping. He had some sweet axe going on at
The Manx this past Sunday.
I only put this picture to show off the lovely
Andrew Farrell painting in the back. The mic is nothing to write home about, but the painting is.
