All is Hmmmmmm:

Goalies are fighting, tories are moving in, all is changing mid-winter up here in the "not-so-frozen thanks to global warming" place we call home.
In other reports, George is passing on the cowboys, but still loves his ranching. George would love to call Stevie and say hello, but um, there are other things to do right now.
We are going to see C'mon tonight, which mean loud sounds rumbling in aging skull.
Gotta get a move on here, Blooger is shutting things down for some matainence at the top of the hour, so have a lovely evening and next few days or weeks or months before I next write here in theis space.
For now, I say Au Revoir,

jim,

Hmmmmmm:

Well, I was going to wait until tomorrow and make it a month to the day since the last post, but to be honest, I only realized that fact right now, so here without any pomp or circumstance is the first blog posting of our new year.
A quick run down of what has go on: um, I played those shows mentioned here before, and then it was the holidays and some family "Scrabble" , then I got a chest cold which hung on for a spell, played a small, private Ottawa show at the Whalesbone Oysterbar, and well, that is about it. I had planned a year end type list, but well, that did not happen. I will say that I very much enjoyed recent records by Super Wolf, Portastatic, The Annimal Collective, Time Fite, Smog, Brad Meldau, A Girl Called Eddy, Andrew Bird, and a whole lot of other that I am not recalling right now.
Can you see here why I have laid off posting? My brain seems to have gone into hibernation.
I have been doing a fair amount of home recording and have a loose plan to get a a fair amount of studio recording done over the next couple of months. I have a Digi-Design Mbox on loan and have had a terrific time arranging and mapping out songs here. Very rewarding and inspiring to spend time this way.
As well there are a few shows coming up for me in the near future, I will post those to you all when I have the solid details worked out. I know that I am heading to Perth and Sherbrooke and into Southern Ontario.
Ok, off to Burnt Hill for a couple of days now while Senoir Morty burns in the sun,

jim,

PS: some newer photos' will also find their way here in the future, but for now, nothing...
