Saturday, Saturday, Saturday:
Just a reminder to remind you of something. If looking down below did not tell you that this Saturday is the Black Sheep Inn Benefit show w/ Camp Radio and Two Dollar Bash in support of our friend Suzi Lang (nee Givogue), then this here remaining reminder might do just that.
Rumblings of a bus have begun, so stay tuned. We are always so late with the bus logistics...

Thanks for reading and checking in, now I must sleep,
jim,
6.6 is Good Enough for MeSo I head in and see the new Ottawa record store, Sounds Unlikely last week and leave with two great records. The new Julie Doiron record, Woke Myself Up is a real gem and the other Lp I bought, the recently 6.6 Pitchfork reviewed Loney, Dear record Loney Noir I absolutely love. A great winter record me thinks. I am gonna try out the freshly downloaded MP3 which came with it on the canal tonight. seems like a good skating record (sorry, not half-pipes, but the straights).
Release Date (I forgot)After talking so much about how I was close to having everything in order for my record, I completely forgot to mention the details two weeks ago like I should have.
On March 27th, the finally titled
"Where The Bungalows Roam", will find it way across Canada with great help from Kelp Records/Saved By Vinyl and Outside Music. Kelp on Cd's, Saved by Vinyl on LPs'(with MP3s' and an extra song) and Outside moving everything around. I am thrilled to be doing things this way after looking around the more traditional Cdn. label route for awhile. Jon has even set up a little page for moi
HERE. We will be streaming the whole record on Kelp leading up to the release and getting a whole bunch of other stuff going.
BenefitingCamp Radio and I are playing a Lung Cancer benefit at the Black Sheep Inn on Saturday March 3rd. Our great and long time friend Suzi Lang (ne: Givogue) has been doing some serious cancer ass kicking and I hope you all come out for what will be a real nice evening of music and friends. I am playing a "soloesque" set, meaning acoustic guitar, laptop gags, some Draves on piano and PVA on Shakers here and there. A bunch more shows will be announced in the coming weeks here including the Ottawa CD/LP release show.
So thanks for checking and I a now very proud member of the Kelp family. Jon has become a great friend and I am so happy we are trying this whole thing out together. He is a good New Brunswick boy full of great ideas, he is.
