Too Late is What Used to be Early:

That is what I am thinking as I sit here with the house cleaned and shut down for the night. Just me and Dolly still up.

I found that painting up yonder in the basement when I moved out here. I guess an aunt of my mother painted it and I had it hanging in the basement where I record, but have given it time now over the mantle the last two days. I love it, the others here? Well, they tolerate it. So it shall stay for a pinch anyway.

I would not have thought that so early would seem so late so soon, but ther it be. I am thrilled to be here like this. Not much happens out here anyway. When I stayed up reading and e-mailering in the the city, I could watch people stumble and yell at each other and look out the second story window at 3am. Out here, well, not so much. Big step out is to organize recyling. I I love it strangely in ways and in ways it is driving me batty. See which hand calls the others bluff.

I am really looking forward to these two Blacksheep shows we are doing. I have been working on songs on my own and have not played anything outside of here except for two songs in a hotel room at 1am three weeks back. I sent out the songs yesterday to the gents so they could become somewhat familiar to the tales of talking trees and laughing leaves and drinking clumsy cottagers. Our Jeremy is in Iceland, so he will come to one rehearsal, but we will try out some of these this Sunday as some of you eat greasy food and watch 3 down football in a dangerous dome stadium that once lost a piece the size of a rail car. Recently maybe that even happened.

Well, that is my Wednesday, sleep well wherever you may be,

Black Sheep Inn and Live Recordings:

Baby Papa life is really amazing and life at home is a real treat right now for me.

The 9th Annual Black Sheep Holiday shows are fast approaching and tickets are selling, so Sir Paul Symes says get 'em now.

Here is the info on it:
Jim Bryson's 9th Annual Blacksheep Inn shows.
Saturday Dec. 6th w/ Tusks (Samir Khan of Kepler)

Sunday Dec. 7th Matinee w/ Tanya Davis
$15 advance.
Get 'em at www.ticketweb.ca and possibly Compact Music.

One final note. Me and Da Kelp Records are working on having the live recordings from the 1st Baptist Church be available for the show.
This CD and Download "show only" limited run release is a 15 song set and offers lots of show favourites and a dash of rarely heard songs thrown in for good measure.
And worry not people, we have removed most of the banter ;)

That is the word, winter birds,
